I made this card (instead of texting)

Over at Catch the Bug we're having a week long birthday bash - Bugaboo is celebrating its 8th birthday. For day 5 it's about making something funny and including a cupcake somewhere.

I love Jodie's chickie images and here another one called Chickz happy birdday chickie. I colored it with soft colores and fussy cut it. I used a lavender colored paper and DI and stencilled the heart pattern. I sed a black pen to doodle the lines. The sentiment is a combination of two  - one from Lawn Fawn (my new element) and a Penny Black one.

This card is also for:
Allsorts - No Patterned Papers
Passion For Promarkers Challenge - #427 Something New (sentiment stamp)
My Time to Craft - Something New (sentiment stamp)

Hi Pia, this chick it's fun and your stencil with the lavender color adds sweetness to the card. Your doodling with the mix of sentiment it's brilliant, no one can suppose that is't by some brand. Love it!

This is awesome Pia. So cute! I love it when I receive a card for my birthday. Unfortunately, they're becoming fewer and fewer every year with more people using social media. It's sad really! Nothing like holding a card in your hand and reading a heartfelt message. But then I'm an old dinosaur - I still prefer reading an actual book to reading an e-book on my tablet. There's just something about it that makes it more enjoyable :-)
Have a wonderful day!

Love this card! That sentiment is too funny... I need one that says something similar (like, instead of going to your party, I made this card, etc.!) Ha. Cute chick.

Hi Pia. You appear to have dropped off my reading list for some unknown reason. I was bothered as I hadn't see you about in blogland for a while. I have 'unfollowed' you and 'followed' you again - hoping that sorts it! xx
